How To Apply Pla-Stick: | |
|
Step 1 - Clean substrate of all contamination, such as grease, dirt and oils using isopropyl alcohol/detergent or other appropriate cleaning solutions. Step 2 - Pla-Stick is ready to spray as packaged, no reduction is needed. Apply one medium coat of Pla-Stick with a dry film thickness of 0.1 to 0.2 mils using standard spray equipment. NOTE: Proper coat thickness is critical for good adhesion properties. With adhesion promoters, more is not better. Carefully monitor coat thickness. Basecoats or primers may be applied immediately after the Pla-Stick coat has dried, usually within 2 to 3 minutes at temperatures 70° F or above. Pla-Stick acts as an adhesive to the plastic providing a bond. Step 3 - Clean equipment thoroughly with thinner. | ![]() |
